On May 19, 2017, the National Geographic Society brought awareness to Endangered Species Day with their Photo Ark #SaveTogether campaign, urging the public to take everyday actions to save endangered animals. The campaign kicked off with a one hour Times Square digital billboard takeover.

Using photography by Joel Sartore, and data on species remaining in the wild, Nomadic designed and animated loop-able content for 21 large-format digital billboards for the one hour takeover throughout Times Square.  Each billboard had its own unique design and animation based on the display's dimensions and all animations were created so that the wildlife images would never play on multiple billboards at the same time. Parts of the animation were even synced between billboards to display footage of different animals "peering into" Times Square simultaneously, creating an enveloping experience for any passerby.
